Our Amazing 48 Hours In BUSAN, South Korea (better than Seoul?) | Honeymoon Diaries

Welcome back, everyone! 🌏

We're thrilled to share our BUSAN adventure, the next stop in our "Honeymoon Diaries" series. This trip has taken us through South Korea and Japan, and Busan, a stunning beach city, was our final destination in South Korea before heading to Japan. Here’s a glimpse of our unforgettable 48 hours in Busan!

Day 1: A Typhoon Welcome

Our journey began with a scenic train ride from Seoul Station to Busan. Just as we arrived, we were greeted by a dramatic typhoon, which added a thrilling twist to our trip! Despite the weather, we were captivated by the beauty of our apartment with its incredible beach view, even though we couldn’t explore much on the first day.

Day 2: Exploring Busan’s Highlights

We started the day with a cozy visit to Holly’s Cafe, perfect for fueling up before a day of exploration. Our first stop was the LOTTE Department Store, where we couldn’t resist some shopping and admired the breathtaking views from the LOTTE Observation Deck.

Next, we visited Busan Tower, which offered a panoramic view of the city. Afterward, we treated ourselves to some delightful pastries at Paris Baguette and wandered through the vibrant Gamcheon Cultural Village. This colorful village, with its artistic alleys and murals, was a highlight of our trip! We ended the day by relaxing at Gwangali Beach, soaking in the beautiful views and enjoying the evening breeze.

Day 3: Delving into Busan’s Local Flavor

On our third day, we fully embraced the local culture by exploring the city and indulging in delicious street food. A fun visit to Deo & Shop Mart added a unique twist to our day as we immersed ourselves in the daily life of Busan.

Day 4: Scenic Adventures

Our fourth day was filled with picturesque views and serene experiences. We took a ride on the Haeundae Blueline Park Mipo Line Sky Capsule, which led us to the stunning Cheongsapo Twin Lighthouse. The ride offered breathtaking coastal views, and the lighthouses were a sight to behold.

Later, we visited the serene Yonggungsa Temple, which is uniquely situated by the sea. We also took in the views from the Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory and ended our day at Cafe de Craft, enjoying a peaceful moment by the beach.

Day 5: Soaking Up the Sun

Our final day in Busan was all about relaxation. We spent the day soaking up the sun at Gwangali Beach, reflecting on our amazing journey in South Korea before heading to our next destination: Osaka!

Next Stop: OSAKA!

Stay tuned as we continue our Honeymoon Diaries series with our adventures in Japan. From the bustling streets of Osaka to the serene temples of Kyoto, there's so much more to come!

With Love,

Adi & Nic
